Men-Tsee-Khang leadership and staff are mourning the loss of our beloved colleague, Dr. Phuntsok Tendhar, who passed away at 12:40 a.m. last night. A prayer service was held at the Men-Tsee-Khang head office in his memory.
Dr. Phuntsok Tendhar was born on June 4, 1979, to Tsering Bhokdo and Sonam Choedon in Lhasa. An alumnus of TCV Suja School, he pursued a degree in Sowa-Rigpa at the Men-Tsee-Khang College, Dharamsala. After graduating, he was deputed to the Pokhra Kunpheling Institute as a lecturer for almost a year in 2008. In 2009, he was appointed Doctor In-Charge of the Men-Tsee-Khang branch clinic in Chabil, where he continued serving until his transfer to the Materia & Medica Department in Dharamsala in 2017.
In his 17 years of dedicated service, Dr. Phintsok Tendhar was known for being cordial, professional and hard working.
