On May 27, 2026, a closing ceremony was held for a series of workshops organized for the outgoing 23rd batch of medical students and the 13th batch of Astro-science students of Men-Tsee-Khang, in the presence of the institute’s leadership.

The workshops included an Acupuncture Training Programme from March 2 to April 10, conducted by Dr. Tenzin Thaye, and a 45-day Sowa-Rigpa Mild Therapy Workshop from April 13 to May 27, led by Dr. Jigme Gendun, both organized for the medical students. The final 16 days of the acupuncture training featured a free treatment drive at the Tibetan Settlement Office’s Community Hall in McLeod Ganj, during which a total of 253 patients received treatment.
The Astro-science students participated in a Practical Application Workshop on Tibetan Astro-science from April 1 to April 30, conducted by Mr. Tenzin Loden (TASP).
The ceremony included the distribution of certificates to the participants and tokens of appreciation to the lecturers in recognition of their time, expertise, and dedication.
The positive feedback received from the students reflected the overall success and value of the workshops, highlighting their contribution to enhancing practical skills and professional development.
