Free medical camp to Changthang in collaboration with LAHDC

Men Tsee Khang in collaboration with the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), held medical camps in remote areas of Changthang, Ladakh from 28th April to 10th May. The free mobile medical camp was flagged by Chairman/CEC, Mr. Tashi Gyalson, and MP Ladakh, Mr. Jamyang Tsering Namgyal from the Leh Men-Tse-Khang clinic. Executive Councilor for RDD, Mr. Tashi Namgyal Yakzee; Councilor, Korzok, Mr. Karma Namdak; Nominated Councilor, Ven Konchok Tsepel; DC, Leh, Mr. Shrikant Suse; Director Health Services, Ladakh, Dr. Motup Dorje; CMO Leh, Dr. Nurzin Angmo and Men Tsee Khang Leh clinic staff led by Dr. Lekshey Choetso and Mr. Jinpa Dorjee.

Medicines worth Rs. 224602.87 were distributed to the 652 patients who sought the medical services, of which mostly were women and children. Since 1998, with or without financial support from other benevolent beings, Men Tsee Khang has been holding free medical camp every two or three months in Changthang region.
