The administrators of the Main Office constitute the executive officers of the institute – the Director, the Registrar and the Chairman of the Academic Council of Tibetan Medicine and Astrology. The overall administration (administrative and academic departments) of the institute is managed by the director and the registrar.  The Chairman of the Academic Council of Tibetan Medicine & Astrology presides all the decisions relating to the enhancement in the fields of Tibetan Medicine and Astrology.
