Men-Tsee-Khang held a memorial prayer service this afternoon, to mourn the sad demise of Mrs. Tenzin Donsel, a daily-wage worker in the Quality Control department, Men-Tsee-Khang.
Mrs. Donsel was born on 27th September, 1986 in Kollegal Tibetan Settlement.
She joined Men-Tsee-Khang on 1st July, 2018 and served as a baby sitter at the Creche for 6 years, after which she sought retirement.
On 14th June, 2025, she was re-engaged as a daily wage worker in the Pharmacy department, Chauntra.
Subsequently, on 23rd December 2025, she was transferred to the quality control department.
Due to sudden deterioration in her health on the night of 16th December, she was admitted to Tanda hospital, where she breathed her last.
The prayer service was attended by the heads of departments and staff of Men-Tsee-Khang.
General Secretary, Mr. Dhondup Palden la briefed a biography of the deceased, offering heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
