MTK Staff Mourns the loss of Mr. Pema Tharchin

Men-Tsee-Khang is deeply saddened by the passing of one of its dedicated staff members, Mr. Pema Tharchin, who passed away on January 5, 2025 after a prolonged illness.  A memorial prayer service was held yesterday afternoon at the Men-Tsee-Khang college hall, attended by all staff members to honor his memory.

Mr. Tharchin was born on January 7, 1978 in the Miao Choepheling Tibetan Settlement, Arunachal Pradesh to Mr. Phuntsok Chonden and Mrs. Sangay Lhamo. He completed his schooling from Herbertpur Tibetan School and joined Men-Tsee-Khang as a probationary staff member at the Jaigaon branch clinic on July 15, 2005. He became a permanent staff member on April 1, 2006 and was later transferred to Delhi Bodh Vihar branch clinic, where he served as an accountant. In 2012, he moved to Majnutilla branch clinic, where he worked as a receptionist, contributing to the institute for more than 18 years until his untimely passing.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. May the departed soul find solace and be reborn swiftly.
