A small but meaningful inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed staff quarters at the Mundgod Branch Clinic was held on 5 February 2026.
The staff quarters building comprising four 1BHK residential units was formally inaugurated by Mr. Thupten Tsering, the incumbent Director of Men-Tsee-Khang. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Tsewang Tamdin, Personal Physician to His Holiness the Dalai lama; Mr. Ngawang Chime, Head of the Branch Clinic Department; Dr. Jigme Gendun, Visiting Physician to His Holiness the Dali Lama; Dr. Kartso Kyi, Head of the Mundgod branch clinic; along with the clinic staff.

The occasion marked an important step toward improving staff welfare and strengthening facilities at the branch clinic.
