Men-Tsee-Khang and its staff are deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved retired staff member, Mrs. Tsering Tsomo, on March 23, 2025, in the USA, after a prolonged illness. To honor her memory, a prayer service was held yesterday at the Men-Tsee-Khang Head Office, attended by all staff members.
Late Mrs. Tsering Tsomo was born on November 12, 1975, to Mr. Dhondup Tsering and Mrs. Tsultrim Sangmo in Sataun, Himachal Pradesh. An alumna of Central School for Tibetans, Dalhousie, she joined Men-Tsee-Khang in 1997 as a medicine dispenser at the Shimla branch clinic. Over the years, she served in various branch clinics, including Dhanglob, Manali, McLeod Ganj, and Gangkyi, as a cashier and medicine dispenser. She dedicated 26 years to the institute until her retirement on March 21, 2024.
We extend our deepest condolences to her family and friends. May her departed soul find peace and be reborn swiftly.
