Yesterday marked the inauguration of a new branch clinic near the Dalai Lama Temple in McLeod Ganj. The clinic was formally opened by Ven. Geshe Samten Gyatso, President of the Institute of Buddhist Dialectics, McLeod Ganj, who also led a religious ceremony, joined by invited monks from Jangtse Monastery.
The ceremony began at 10:30 a.m., attended by Director Thupten Tsering, members of the Executive Committee, department and section heads of Men-Tsee-Khang, and the appointed staff of the branch clinic. The inaugural event concluded with the scarf-offering and prayer ceremony.
Dr. Ven. Tsering choezom will lead the clinic, supported by two staff members. The primary goal of establishing this new branch is to provide accessible Tibetan herbal healthcare to the many global visitors who frequent the revered temple.
