As per the MoU signed on 12 February 2019 between the Director of Men-Tsee-Khang, Mr. Tashi Tsering Phuri and the Honorable Chancellor of Manipur International University, Dr. Harikumar Pallathadka, a 4-member ‘Investigation & Selection Committee’ was set up to follow up on the agreements.

The committee comprising of Mr. Tenzin Dorjee, Chief Internal Auditor and Vice-chairman of Land & Building committee, Mr. Dhundup Palden, Chief Accountant and Vice-chairman of Land & Building committee, Mr. Tenzin Chokphel, member of Land & Building committee and Mr. Tenzin Datse, Head of High Altitude Medicinal Plant (HAMP) Department had observed 11 areas. They unanimously selected 7 favorable areas with a total size of 960.5 acres, the details of which including the legal documents and maps were presented by Mr. Tenzin Dorjee to the Director of Men-Tsee-Khang on 3 February 2022 in the presence of 5cd committee, Land & Building committee, doctors of Materia Medica Department, staffs of HAMP department and the Head of Outreach Department.
