At the request of Tulku Jigme Thrinley Rinpoche, the mayor of Eugene, Oregon, an introductory session on Tibetan Medicine and Astrology was organised for a group of twenty-four students from the Palmo Center for Peace and Education at Pema Thang Guest House, Mcload Ganj on 27th February 2026. Dr. Sonam Wangmo delivered an hour introductory talk on Tibetan Medicine, while TASP Tenzin Yangkyi presented a one-hour session on Tibetan Astrology. The programme concluded with a health consultation conducted by Dr. Sonam Wangmo.
